We are starting the week off with a loss on the Power Picks front, but we have 2 more chances this week to avenge said loss. Wednesday A Different World gets a run again, and Thursday brings back It's Good To Be Us for it's second chance this week. Be sure to be at a computer at 11AM ET both days and get ready to vote Bucky to victory.
We also have a request to remind everyone to live stream It's Good To Be Us every chance you get. It is sitting at 39 right now on the CMT charts, but we can give it a good boost and hit the top 10. You can let it stream in the background while doing other tasks, so no excuses (ok, 1 excuse - dial up, but that is the only acceptable one!) Head over to CMT and start streaming now.
If you have not had a chance to get your vote in for the CMT Awards, head there as well. Voting closes April 11th so there is still plenty of time, but don't put it off too long or that date will pass before you know it. This is a wonderful opportunity for us to show Bucky how very much his music means to us. We have helped put one award into his hands (that gold mouse!) so lets help his collection grow by adding that belt buckle. This is just the start folks, there are lots of award opportunities on the horizon. Lets not miss out on this one!
Don't forget while you are running around voting and streaming and voting some more - pick up the phone and give your local DJ a call. Ask them to play It's Good To Be Us, and as mentioned time and time again - let them know how much it is appreciated. We work hard to get our artists moving up the charts, but without the help of those awesome DJs it just would not happen. The Mediabse Top 500 chart is looking especially attractive today with a bullet AND a #13 spot, weighted shows the same bullet but we are holding at #14 there. There are a couple of big climbers sneaking up behind us, so be sure and work on those requests.
